Bak Kut Teh
The pork ribs and meat in the bak kut teh is good. It’s just nice, tender and not too dry or tough. The soup is also not too herby, not those thick type and rich enough in flavor, resulting in countless requests of extra soup (which is free). Their rice is oiled with lard and mixed with eu chang (deep-sliced shallots) and fried “you tiao” with the bak kut teh.
